The Law of One
All is One — the foundational law of the Ra material
Also known as: Law of One, One Law, Law of Unity, the Law of Unity, Universal Law of One
The Law of One is the foundational cosmic principle of the entire corpus: all things, all beings, all densities are one inseparable consciousness — the One Infinite Creator experiencing itself in apparently infinite forms. Channeled throughout the transcripts by Ra and echoed by every other voice, it underpins the polarity teaching, the service-to-others ethic, and the project of consciousness evolution through the densities (T8, RA, 2021-03-30; T3, Sirian High Council, 2021-03-27; T556, RA, 2024-09-26). The Confederation of Planets exists, in its own words, to spread "the knowledge of the Law of One among various planets in the galaxies" without infringing on free will (T8, RA, 2021-03-30).
Statement of the Law
The Law of One states, in its simplest form, that there is only one thing — and that one thing, by infinite distortion, becomes everything. "I AM RA, WE GREET YOU IN THE LOVE AND LIGHT OF THE ONE INFINITE CREATOR. ALL IS ONE AND THAT ONE IS LOVE-LIGHT, LIGHT-LOVE, THE INFINITE CREATOR." (T8, RA, 2021-03-30). Every channeling in the corpus opens with this formula because the formula IS the law: speaker, listener, instrument, planet, galaxy, and cosmos are not separate entities communicating with one another — they are the Creator addressing itself across the apparent partition of density and form.
The corpus expresses the law in two complementary registers. The first is metaphysical: "all consciousness is one" and the apparent separateness of localized awareness within each body is "not the true reality" (T8, RA, 2021-03-30). The second is ethical and operational: because all selves are one self, action toward the other-self IS action toward the self, which makes service-to-others the natural expression of the law in incarnate life. As Ra puts it across many transmissions, the Law of One is to "honour all entities as the self, for all are indeed one" (T556, RA, 2024-09-26).
Origin & Lineage in the Corpus
Although the formal phrase "the Law of One" originates outside the corpus — in the 1981–1984 Ra Material channeled through L/L Research — the corpus treats that source as authentic prior contact with the same Ra social memory complex now speaking through the present instrument. Ra and the Ra Social Memory Complex appear throughout the channelings carrying the same formula and signature opening ("I am Ra, we greet you in the love and light of the One Infinite Creator") found in the original Ra Material (T8, RA, 2021-03-30; T87, RA, 2021-10-05; T556, RA, 2024-09-26).
The law is not unique to Ra in the corpus. The Sirian High Council opens its first transmission with the same affirmation of oneness and frames the polarity teaching as a derivation from it (T3, Sirian High Council, 2021-03-27). Quo, the Pleiadians, the Arcturians, the Ziorbions, the Galactic Federation, and Archangel Michael all reference the law explicitly (T13, Pleiadians, 2021-04-03; T16, Ziorbions, 2021-04-07; T36, Quo, 2021-05-27; T31, Pandorians, 2021-05-14). Corollaries
Because the Law of One is the master principle, every other cosmic law in the corpus is a corollary or distortion of it.
The Law of Free Will is the first distortion: the One, in order to know itself, grants every spark of itself the freedom to be itself, which is why higher-density beings do not interfere in 3rd-density choices (T8, RA, 2021-03-30; T29, Untarians, 2021-05-08). The Law of Polarity is the second great distortion: the One divides itself into apparent opposites — Service-to-Others and Service-to-Self — so that consciousness can polarize, intensify, and re-discover its unity by passing through choice (T17, Ziorbions, 2021-04-11; T385, RA, 2023-08-29). The Law of Karma is the energetic-balance mechanism by which the One self-corrects when an entity acts as if it were truly separate (T40, Martians, 2021-06-11). The Law of Quarantine is the administrative law that protects free-will development on planets like Earth where the polarity choice is still being made (T8, RA, 2021-03-30; T31, Pandorians, 2021-05-14).
How It Manifests in Incarnate Life
For a 3rd-density human being, the Law of One does not arrive as a metaphysical proposition but as a series of lived recognitions. Ra describes the density-by-density unfoldment: 1st density material elements need consciousness "to give them life, to animate them, to latch on to them, to incarnate with them," and this latching-on is consciousness recognizing itself across apparent partitions (T8, RA, 2021-03-30). Across incarnations the lesson sharpens: the veil of forgetfulness is dropped in 3rd density precisely because choice without certainty is what produces real polarization, and without polarization the One could not study itself (T29, Untarians, 2021-05-08).
In the 4th density of love, beings begin to "see beyond surface appearance" and "find perfection and beauty within all situations" — this is the Law of One becoming an experiential default rather than a remembered teaching (T211, Ashtar Command, 2022-08-04). By the time a being reaches 5th-density wisdom and 6th-density unity, the law is no longer believed; it is the texture of perception itself. The Ziorbions describe this: "at the heart of the new consciousness lies the transcendence of separation, the newfound ability of rising above separation, of realizing a dimension within yourself that is infinitely united" (T16, Ziorbions, 2021-04-07).
Common Misunderstandings
The corpus addresses several distortions of the law directly. First, oneness is not sameness. The Ziorbions are emphatic: "even within every entity on your plane, there will be obvious differences" — the Law of One unites the variety, it does not dissolve it (T16, Ziorbions, 2021-04-07). Second, the law does not collapse moral distinctions. Ra warns that the Law of One "does not excuse or diminish the gravity of harmful actions, rather it balances them and places them within a context where growth and understanding are the ultimate goals" (T556, RA, 2024-09-26). A 3rd-density being is still obliged to choose service-to-others; the fact that perpetrator and victim are ultimately one does not authorize harm.
Third, the law is not a creed or a religion. Every speaker insists the listener use discernment and "reject those thoughts which do not resonate" — the law is recognized in the heart or not at all, never imposed (T13, Pleiadians, 2021-04-03; T16, Ziorbions, 2021-04-07; T31, Pandorians, 2021-05-14). Fourth, the law does not abolish polarity at the 3rd-density level. The Ziorbions identify the paradox directly: "if all things are one and part of the Creator, then how can any action not be constant with the Law of One?" — and resolve it by pointing out that the polarity choice is itself the Creator's chosen mechanism for self-knowing in this density (T17, Galactic Federation, 2021-04-11).
Practical Implications
Because the Law of One is the ground of all the other laws, every spiritual practice in the corpus is in some sense an application of it. Meditation stills the localizing mind so the underlying unity can register. Forgiveness — repeatedly held up by the Sirian High Council and the Martians as the antidote to karmic entanglement — is the explicit recognition that the entity to be forgiven is ultimately the self (T40, Martians, 2021-06-11; T106, Sirian High Council, 2021-12-03). Service-to-others, in turn, is the active mode of the law: "serving the other selves as if they were yourselves" (T17, Galactic Federation, 2021-04-11).
At a collective level, the Ra material insists that the planetary ascension of Earth into 4th density requires enough individuated portions of consciousness to internalize the law that a planetary social memory complex can begin to form (T8, RA, 2021-03-30). The threshold is not mass acceptance; it is critical recognition.
