Kundalini is the corpus's name for the latent, serpentine energetic current that lies coiled at the base of the spine and which, when awakened, rises through the Chakras bringing each into 'the luminescence of the creator's light' (Saint Germain). It is described as the deepest single energetic activation available to a 3rd-density human, and the channelings give it more cautions than any other practice in the archive — particularly around premature forcing of the rise. Ra and Saint Germain are the primary sources (T323, Saint Germain, 2023-04-11; T294, RA, 2023-02-04).
What Kundalini Is
Saint Germain's chakra activation transmission contains the corpus's clearest description: 'lighting down all the energy centers giving each the luminescence of the creator's light. This is known as Kundalini awakening by your people' (T323, Saint Germain, 2023-04-11). Kundalini is the upward-rising current that lights each chakra as it ascends, the same evolutionary force that drives the soul's development across the densities — concentrated and embodied in the current physical vessel.
The ancient Sanskrit image of a coiled serpent is preserved across the channelings. The serpent is dormant in most human beings; it stirs during awakening; in rare cases (deliberate practice or spontaneous activation) it rises fully. The The Lemurians treat kundalini as the body's native equivalent of the cosmic evolutionary impulse: 'the love in your heart will open your pineal' is one of the lateral effects of the current's upward movement (T19, Lemurians, 2021-04-17). Where Light Codes arrive from outside, kundalini rises from inside; the two meet.
How Kundalini Functions
The mechanism described in the channelings: the current lies coiled at the root, gathered through eons of embodied experience. When the chakras above are sufficiently open and the lower three are stable in their function, the energy can release and rise. As it ascends it activates each chakra in sequence — sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, crown — bringing each into a much higher operating state than it occupied in the dormant configuration. Saint Germain describes this as the entire chakra system simultaneously coming under the I AM Presence (T323, Saint Germain, 2023-04-11).
Ra's transmission on negative interference with kundalini through energy-system distortion (T294, RA, 2023-02-04) is the corpus's most cautionary entry. The vaccine's effect on kundalini, in Ra's framing, is to disturb the precise energetic configuration that allows the current to rise cleanly — not necessarily blocking awakening but altering its character. The principle generalizes: anything that significantly distorts the energy system's coherence affects the kundalini current's path.
Distinction from Light Codes and Chakra Activation
Three adjacent processes are easy to confuse. Light codes arrive from outside the body — from the Sun, the galactic center, the Arcturian and Pleiadian transmitters — and enter primarily through the upper chakras. Chakra activation can be worked locally at each center using visualization, mantra, or focused awareness without engaging the full kundalini current. Kundalini is the body's own innate evolutionary force rising from below.
The three meet in the Light Body activation: light codes coming down through the crown, kundalini rising up through the root, chakras serving as the integration centers where the two currents marry. The The Sirian High Council and Saint Germain both teach that genuine awakening requires both directions — codes alone produce a top-heavy, ungrounded activation; kundalini alone (without crown opening to receive) produces overheating and instability.
Cautions and Risks
More than for any other practice in the corpus, the channelings caution against forcing kundalini activation. Ra addresses this explicitly: 'there is a need for inner discernment to be used at this timeline. The query relates with the aspect of karmic energy' (T294, RA, 2023-02-04). Premature kundalini rise — through aggressive yogic practice, certain drug use, or extreme stress — can produce a 'kundalini crisis': dramatic energetic disturbances, mental destabilization, sleep collapse, intense physical symptoms, sometimes lasting years if not properly integrated.
The corpus's consistent counsel: do not target kundalini directly. Tend to the chakras, do the shadow work, practice Forgiveness and Meditation, hold heart-coherence, and the kundalini will rise on its own timeline when the architecture is ready to receive it. Saint Germain's Violet Flame is recommended as a preparatory clearing tool. The Sirians add that Wanderers arriving in this incarnation often have higher latent kundalini than average; they should still respect the gradual approach.
Cultivation: The Slow Approach
The recommended path across the channelings is essentially the opposite of forcing. Archangel Michael prescribes: heart-opening practice as the foundation; integration of Negative Emotions and The Shadow so that the rising current does not detonate stored material on its way up; meditation to stabilize the field; time in nature to anchor the lower chakras; and the I AM Presence invocations from Saint Germain's lineage to align the entire system with its highest expression.
The The Lemurians note that light codes arriving from the galactic center are gently stimulating kundalini in many people without their conscious knowledge — small, manageable rises occurring spontaneously over years. This slower, distributed awakening is described as the safest pattern: enough movement to advance the Soul, not so much at once that the system cannot integrate (T19, Lemurians, 2021-04-17; T280, Saint Germain, 2023-01-03).
Common Misunderstandings
First, kundalini is not 'sexual energy' in the reductive popular framing. It includes the creative-evolutionary current of which sexual energy is one expression, but it is not coterminous with libido. Second, 'kundalini awakening' is not a single binary event — most people experience partial rises over years before any full opening occurs, if ever. Third, faster is not better. The corpus's emphasis is on integration capacity, not speed of activation.
Fourth, kundalini is not the same as enlightenment. It is an energetic event, not a guarantee of wisdom; many traditions document beings who underwent kundalini rise without resolving the The Ego or integrating The Shadow, and the result was destabilization rather than awakening. Fifth, blockages encountered by rising kundalini are not failures — they are precisely the unintegrated material the current has come to address. Sixth, no one needs to actively pursue kundalini for full The Ascension; the same Light Body can come online through other pathways.
